By Car

If you’re coming to the Empire Theatre by car, then car parking couldn’t be easier, with the following car parks all two minutes from the Empire:

By Train

Inter City services run from all major towns and cities, including hourly services from London, into Lime Street Station, which is situated right next door to the Theatre. Northern Line services from South Liverpool and Southport run to Moorfields station (please change there for Lime Street)

By Bus

Numerous local bus services stop on Lime Street and the street which adjoins it, Renshaw Street. Queen’s Square Bus Station is an easy 5 minute walk from the station. For information on times please go to http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/ or call the Travelline on 0870 608 2608.

The National Express coach station at Great Norton Street is a short 5-10 minute walk along London Road. By Air

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is located 8 miles from the city centre and has regular scheduled flights from many major European cities including London, Dublin, Belfast, Nice, Amsterdam, Dublin, Geneva and Brussels. The airport can be reached easily via an Express Bus service that departs the city centre every 30 minutes. Manchester Airport offers an international gateway from all over the world. There is a rail link from Manchester Airport directly into Liverpool city centre and National Express coaches operate hourly services direct to the city centre.

 

By Sea

There are ferry links from the Isle of Man and Dublin operated by Seacat located at the Pier Head, and Norse Merchant 12 Quays Terminal at Birkenhead operates to Belfast and Dublin.
